BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State women's soccer team dropped its SUNYAC opener, 2-1, at Buffalo State on Wednesday. Both teams scored within the first few minutes of the game, before Buffalo State got the game-winner in the 59th minute.
The Bengal's Kaylee Valentic went to the high left corner for the game's first goal 1:52 into the game.
Just 20 seconds later,
Bri Grazen ripped a low shot in the center of the goal to tie the game at 1-all.Â

Midway through the second half, the Bengals got the game winner.Â
The Devils managed 10 shots with six shots on goal.
Katie Sellers had three shots.
Sabrina Suriani was credited with two saves and gave up two goals in 90 minutes.
Buffalo State also had 10 shots, with four shots on goal. Isabella Vene had five saves while giving up one goal.
The Devils fall to 2-3-2 overall and 0-1 in the SUNYAC. Buffalo State moves to 5-1-1 and 1-0. The Bengals also earned two more points in the Battle by the Lake.
