This did not last long as the Blue Devils answered back with an onslaught of goals, scoring 3 straight. The first goal was scored Brady, with the only assist of the game going to Buchko. Farino was able to grab the second goal, while Culver netted the third.

The Wolverines offense responded with three unanswered goals of their own, before the end of the second quarter.

The Blue Devils went into halftime, down 4-3.

Coming out of halftime, Buchko scored the Devils fourth goal of the game, only 1:17 into the third.
