The Blue Devils were led by Aaron Collins with 25 points and 5 three pointers, and Jacob Hougan with 17 points and 8 rebounds. Kreem George had 17 points, 10 rebounds, and 6 assists. It was his second double-double of the season.

Fredonia State found a way to battle back and tie the game up at 32-all after Collins hit a deep three with 3:37 on the clock.

With 1:10 left in the half, George drove into the paint where he was able to convert a tough layup over the New Paltz defender, giving the Blue Devils a one-point lead, 36-35. Sean Lucia of New Paltz made a layup to close the half and give the Hawks the lead going into the locker room.

In the first half the Hawks were able to get to the free throw line consistently, converting 15-17 attempts.

The second half started off with back and forth scoring from both teams, until New Paltz slowly pulled away.

From there, the Hawks shut down the Blue Devils' comeback by going on a 19-10 run to close out the game.
