Aaron Collins nailed six second half three pointers and finished the game with 26 points -- including 7-10 shooting from beyond the arc -- as the Devils fell to Buffalo State, 79-75, in overtime on Saturday. His final three sent the game into overtime.
Kreem George added 16 points and eight rebounds.
The Devils led 32-27 at the half. George led the Devils with nine points and Collins had eight at the break.
Collins heated up in the second half. In the first seven-and-a-half minutes, he nailed three long-range buckets as the Devils expanded their lead to 51-42 at the 12:38 mark.
Later in the half, the Devils went on a 9-2 run to extend their lead to 11 points, 61-50. Collins continued his hot shooting, starting the run with a pair of threes.
Buffalo State answered right back with an 16-2 run to take a 66-63 lead. Following a timeout,
Aaron Collins nailed a step back three as regulation expired, sending the game into overtime.
The Devils could not hang on in the extra frame, being outscored 10-7.
Buffalo State improves to 5-17 overall and 4-11 in the SUNYAC. They were led by Philbert Weekes had 22 points and 14 rebounds, and Marquel Bartwell had 11 points and 17 boards.
The Devils fall to 3-19 overall and 3-12 in the SUNYAC.
