FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Tied 1-1 after two periods, Fredonia State and Cortland traded third-period goals to send the game into overtime. The Red Dragons scored the game-winner with 1:26 left in the extra frame to claim the win. The Devils received goals from Jake Murphy and Antonio Demacopoulos.

Cortland struck first with a goal by Colby Seitzand and assists from Sutter Donegan and Nicholas Serio at 8:57 of the first.

The Devils tied things up in the second period when Murphy scored an unassisted goal -- his second on the year -- 5:48 into the frame. 

In the third, the Devils took the lead on a power play by Demacopoulos. It was his third goal of the year. Johnny Aonso and Murphy assisted.

Cortland tied the game with 3:22 left to play when Jona Hildreth found the net. Anthony Bernardo would go on to score the game winner in overtime.

Logan Dyck made 31 saves in goal, including three in overtime. The Devils did not record a shot on goal in the extra frame. Cortland netminder Luca Durante totaled 23 saves for the game.

Cortland was 0-3 on power plays, and the Devils were 1-4. 

The Red Dragons improve to 6-3-1 overall and 5-2-0 in the SUNYAC.

The Devils (2-8 / 2-5) play host to Oswego to round out the semester on Saturday. The puck drops at 7 p.m.
