GENESEO, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State hockey team dropped a 4-0 game at Geneseo on Saturday evening. After battling through the first two periods, Geneseo led 1-0 before racking up three goals in the third period.
The game went scoreless through the first period, with Devil goaltender
Logan Dyck stopping 17 shots.
Geneseo got on the board 1:11 into the second period. Things would stay that way until the third period.
The Knights used a power play at the 3:04 mark to double their lead.They added an even-strength goal at 8:43 and another power play at 16:17 to finish off the scoring.
Dyck ended the night with 46 saves, while Geneseo's Matt Petizian stopped 26 shots en route to the shutout. The Knights improve to 8-3-2 / 4-2 SUNYAC.
The Devils (2-7 / 2-4 SUNYAC) return home next weekend. They take on Cortland Friday and Oswego on Saturday in Steele Hall.
