Ryan Bailey scored the game's only goal at the 11:01 mark of the third period as the Fredonia State hockey team pulled out a much-needed 1-0 SUNYAC win over Brockport on Friday. Goalie
Logan Dyck earned the shutout, making 39 saves.
Bailey broke away from the pack and scored the unassisted, short-handed goal to improve the Devils to 2-3 in the conference and 2-6 overall.
Brockport fell to 3-3 and 3-6 overall. Aiden Curry made 38 saves and gave up a lone goal.
The Devils were 0-3 on power plays and the Golden Eagle 0-6.
The Devils will travel to Geneseo tomorrow for a 7 p.m. game.
