FREDONIA, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State women's soccer team was unable to get any momentum going on Saturday afternoon, dropping a 2-0 match to visiting Plattsburgh.
The powerful Plattsburgh offense used a first-half goal from Kirsten Villemaire, her fifth of the season, and a second-half goal from Alison Seidman, her sixth of the season. The Cardnials outshot the Devils, 19-2.
Sabrina Suriani made 17 saves for the Devils.

Ashley Campbell had the shots on goal for the Devils. Fredonia State falls to 2-7-4 overall and 0-5-2 in the SUNYAC.
Plattsburgh is now 9-5-1, and 4-3-1 in the conference.
The Devils are back home on Wednesday to take on Oswego in a SUNYAC contest.
