Aaron Collins had his third 20-point game in the last four contests, going for a career-high 28 points in an 82-75 win over Buffalo State.
Jacob Hougan collected 10 points and five boards and
Kreem George,
Matt Aebersold, and
Braeden Miller had nine points apiece.
The Devils led 45-30 at the break. Collins led the Devils with 10 points, and
Marquis Tubman and
Jacob Hougan had 7.
Buffalo State came back in the second. They opened on a 10-0 run, and would pull within one point at the 10 minute mark, 56-55, but the Devils would never surrender the lead. It was their third win in the last five games.
Fredonia State hit on all eight of its free throw attempts in the final 39 seconds. Collins connected six times, and George twice.
Buff State held a 46-45 edge on the boards. The Devils were 10-16 from three-point range, and the Bengals were 7-21.
Buff State falls to 2-16 overall, and 1-10 in the SUNYAC.
Fredonia State moves to 3-15 and 3-8.
