FREDONIA, N.Y. -- The first home game back from winter break, Fredonia State took down SUNYAC opponent, Morrisville State with a score of 5-3. Five different players scored for Fredonia State;

Kurri Woodford,
Chandler Judd, and
Craig McCabe. Goaltender
Logan Dyck, had another busy game with 30 saves in 33 shots on goal.
In the first period Morrisville State found the first goal of the game at 16:56. Trevor Neumann took a shot from the far left hash mark that found its way through the fivehole.
The first period ended with Morrisville State up 1-0. Fredonia State out-shot Morrisville 16 to 9.
The Blue Devils had 4 minutes of penalties that they were able to kill, but were unable to connect on their lone powerplay of the period.
In the second period Fredonia's Aonso took a hard shot from the point that left a rebound for Lee to put it home wth 11:51 left in the second to tie the game at 1-all
Fredonia State's,
Kieran Furlonger was sent to the box with 9:03 left in the second period, to serve a minor for checking from behind. While on the penalty kill, Morrisville State found the back of the net to take a 2-1 lead.
With 3:31 left in the second, the Devils were able to answer back when Malandruccolo took a hard shot from the point that was tipped by Demacopoulos into the net to tie the game at 2.
Fredonia State out-shot the Mustangs, 18 to 9, in the second period.
With 17:08 left in the game, the Devils came down on an odd man rush where Malandruccolo found Woodford on the backdoor to score their third goal of the game.
With 13:30 left in the second period Dyck made an incredible cross crease save, allowing the Devils to hold onto a 3-2 lead.
Fredonia State's fourth goal of the game came off of another odd man rush where Blackwell found Judd on the backdoor for the score and give them a 4-2 lead.
The Mustangs closed the gap with 7:34 left in the game to make it 4-3 contest.
McCabe scored the final goal on an empty net with 56 seconds left in the game.
Morrisville State drops to 6-10-1 overall and 1-8-0 in the SUNYAC.
Fredonia State improves to 6-6-1 and 4-4-0 in the conference. They are back home Friday vs. Buffalo State.
