OSWEGO, N.Y. -- Fredonia State dropped to 1-1 in the SUNYAC, 2-2 overall, with a 5-4 women's tennis loss Monday to Oswego State.

Singles winners for the Blue Devils were Jane Chiacchia at No. 1, Gabrielle Gance at No. 4, and Bella Surma at No. 5. Fredonia State's other point was at No. 2 doubles as Gance and Princess Unita Obi combined for the win.

Also competing for the Blue Devils were Taylor Marelli, Dominque Martello, and Sarah O'Leary.

The teams meet again next Sunday in Fredonia. Before then, the Blue Devils have home matches scheduled for Wednesday vs. Penn State Behrend and Thursday vs. Geneseo, weather permitting.
