FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Fredonia State's offense was limited to six hits, three in each game of a doubleheader loss Saturday to Brockport. The Blue Devils dropped both games by identical 8-1 scores.

Luke Kenyon had two hits in the opener, including a double, and scored his team's lone run in the last of the eighth inning. Korey Canton was the losing pitcher while Kyle Canavally picked up the win for Brockport.

In Game 2, Ryan Hann homered with two outs in the last of the seventh as the Blue Devils (1-8 overall, 0-8 SUNYAC) staved off the shutout in their final at-bat. Tyler Phillips and Brian Chatt each added a hit. Matt McGowan was the winning pitcher as the Golden Eagles improved to 12-2 overall and 7-1 in the SUNYAC.

Fredonia State starter Adam Goot took the loss while Sam Cestra each pitched scoreless relief for the Blue Devils -- Cestra for one inning and Ryan Howard for 1 2/3 innings.

Next up for the Blue Devils is a home doubleheader Tuesday vs. Oswego State starting at 1 o'clock.
