GENESEO, N.Y. – The Fredonia State Women's Volleyball Team (10-9, 6-2 SUNYAC) dropped a 3-0 decision to host Geneseo (10-8, 5-1 SUNYAC) on Friday afternoon.
 
The Blue Devils' set scores were 14-25, 12-25, and 23-25.
 
The home team was in complete control over the first two sets, combining for 27 kills and a .414 hitting percentage. The Knights held Fredonia State to 12 kills while committing 11 errors.
 
Fredonia hit their stride in the third set, taking the home team to the final point. In their most competitive set of the day, the visitors recorded 14 kills and a .132 hitting percentage.
 
Emily Jones (Plainfield, Ill.) led Fredonia with eight kills. Selena Brown (Queens, N.Y.) contributed seven kills and a .545 hitting percentage.
 
Kourtney Krchniak (Lockport, N.Y.) was dominate on both sides of the ball recording a team-high 21 assists and a team-leading 10 digs. Elora Sherman (Huntington Station, N.Y.) matched the sophomore with 10 digs of her own.
 
The Blue Devils look to get back on track tomorrow when they travel to Brockport for a 1:00 matchup.
