BROCKPORT, N.Y. – For the second straight day the Fredonia State Women's Volleyball Team (10-10, 6-3 SUNYAC) dropped a 3-0 decision on the road. Despite the 0-2 weekend, the Blue Devils clinched a spot in the SUNYAC Postseason Tournament.
 
Fredonia's conference slate has come to a close, but most of the SUNYAC has yet to conclude conference play. The Blue Devils' seeding will be determined after the conclusion of conference play.
 
Brockport (14-6, 5-2 SUNYAC) earned the win by way of 25-10, 25-15, and 25-13 set scores.
 
The Blue Devils couldn't get their attack going, combining for a .045 hitting percentage on the day. The home team put together a .342 hitting percentage along with 41 kills.
 
Christie Ackendorf (Amherst, N.Y.) led the team in kills with five and had a hitting percentage of .273.
 
Kourtney Krchniak (Lockport, N.Y.) recorded the only assists for the Blue Devils, registering 15 on the day.
 
Selena Brown (Queens, N.Y.) was excellent defensively, recording five blocks. Sierra Keim (Shinglehouse, Pa.) added a team-high eight digs.
 
Fredonia State returns to action on Saturday, October 23^rd when they host a tri-match with Hilbert and Case Western Reserve.
