FREDONIA, N.Y. -- The Fredonia women's soccer team lost to RIT, 2-1, on Saturday. RIT scored the first two goals before the Devils cut the lead in half in the 77th minute. The Devils fall to 3-4, while RIT improves to 4-2.
The Tigers scored goals in the 20th minute of the first half, then again in the 65th minute of the second.

 Abbey Saia scored both RIT goals.
Shots were 12-7 in favor of RIT. The Tigers took nine corner kicks to two for the Blue Devils. Alyssa Salls got the win in net for RIT, making two saves.
Abbey Monahan (Warsaw, N.Y. / Warsaw) took the loss for Fredonia, making seven saves.
Fredonia opens SUNYAC play next weekend, playing host to Plattsburgh on Friday, and Potsdam on Saturday at University Stadium.
