FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Sam Belitz scored in the 103rd minute to break a scoreless tie and lift Grove City over Fredonia State, 1-0, in men's soccer Saturday at University Stadium.

Belitz scored following a cross into the box from the right endline. Justin Lind was credited with the lone assist.

William Richardson made his first appearance of the season in goal for the Blue Devils (2-2-2). He made three saves. His counterpart, Luke Greenway, had five saves to earn the shutout.

Grove City had an 11-8 advantage in total shots while the Blue Devils had a 5-2 advantage in corner kicks.

Jay Merlo had three of Fredonia State's shots, all of them on goal.
