FREDONIA, N.Y. -- The Fredonia baseball team dropped a 17-4 decision to Cortland on Sunday. The Devils held a 3-1 lead in the second inning, but could not slow down the Dragons to fall to 6-3 in the SUNYAC. Cortland improved its league-leading mark to 9-0.

Nicolas Fiore was 2-for-3 to lead the Devils. Billy Sanborn and Billy Clifford each recorded a double for the hosts.

Nicholas Lawlor took the loss, going 3 1/3 innings giving up seven earned runs. Kenny Ynoa tossed 1 2/3 scoreless iniings of relief.

The Devils return to Ludwig Field with  3:00 game vs. the Allegheny Gators.
