FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Brockport received votes in this week's Intercollegiate Women Lacrosse Coaches' Association Division III rankings. The Golden Eagles (10-1 overall, 5-0) showed why their among the top teams in the country with a 22-1 SUNYAC win Wednesday over the Fredonia Blue Devils at University Stadium.

Sara Grapevine had a 10-point game with three goals and seven assists and Chloe Kurst added four goals and three assists to lead Brockport.

Fredonia's lone goal was scored by Madeline Haney while Kayla Purcell, making her first collegiate start in goal, was credited with six saves. Sarah English had three ground balls, Samantha Spiess two draw controls, and English two caused turnovers.

The Blue Devils (3-10- overall, 0-6 SUNYAC) are back in action Saturday at Potsdam.
