POTSDAM, N.Y. -- Potsdam outscored Fredonia 6-2 down the stretch of its 14-10 SUNYAC women's lacrosse game Saturday.

Cayla O'Connor had five goals and Katie Longamore made 10 saves for the Bears (4-9 overall, 2-5 SUNYAC).

Alyssa Kissel had five goals for the Blue Devils (3-11 overall, 0-7 SUNYAC), including one with 21:15 left to even the score at 8-8, the fifth and last tie of the game.

Alli Coon and Madeline Haney had two goals each while Samantha Spiess contributed four ground balls, three caused turnovers, and four draw controls.

Fredonia is back in action next Saturday at 1 p.m. when it closes the home portion of its season against SUNYAC opponent Plattsburgh.
