FREDONIA, N.Y. -- The start of the conference portion of the women's lacrosse season result in Fredonia falling to Oswego, 23-3, on Saturday afternoon at University Stadium.
Molly Beck, Toni Laneve, and Kassidy Myers had four goals each and Teresa Shattuck collected seven assists for the visiting Lakers (4-1.), who led 9-0 before Fredonia got on the board.

Jen Kershner, and
Samantha Spiess had the Fredonia goals while goalkeeper
Bridget Carey was credited with nine saves.
Sarah English collected three ground balls while Spiess and
Alli Coon had three draw controls each for the Blue Devils (3-5).
Fredonia visits Buffalo State on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
