FREDONIA, N.Y -- Fredonia State fell to Brockport, 3-2, in SUNYAC women's soccer Saturday at University Stadium.
The Blue Devils (4-7-2 overall, 1-3-2 SUNYAC) took a 2-1 lead as
Shania Platt scored in the 18th minute and
Gabby Alston in the 25th minute.
The Golden Eagles (8-5-1 overall, 4-2-0 SUNYAC) rallied in the second half on goals by Kiley Longin in the 54th minute and Sydnee Smith in the 84th minute. It was Smith's second goal of the game.

Sabrina Suriani made seven saves while Kayla Usborne made five saves for Brockport.
Brockport outshot Fredonia State 19-11 and had an 8-0 advantage in corner kicks.
Brockport's first goal int he fifth minute came after a scramble to the right of Suriani. She stopped a low, hard shot by Camryn Pettit before Smith put away the rebound.
Platt's goal, her first of the season, came on a shot taken from just inside the 18-yard box which deflected off Usborne.
Alston made it 2-1 with her fourth of the season, and second of the weekend, when she one-timed a pass from
Melanie Minotti.
Nicki Barlow's cross into the box set up Minotti, who headed the ball to Alston.
Longin tied the game at 2-2 with her eighth goal of the season on an arcing shot under the cross bar from the top left of the 18.
Like her first goal of the game, Smith's game-winner came off a rebound. Ellen Walpole earned an assist for her mid-range shot which Suriani dove to stop yet was unable to contain. Smith was there to cash in.
