FREDONIA, N.Y. -- The Blue Devils fell short 4-0 to the no. 22 ranked RIT Tigers on a hot Saturday afternoon.
The Tigers first goal came just over 4 minutes into the game when Jessica Jones took a free kick from the top of Fredonia's box that was deflected off the head of Monique Polanco and over the outstretched Fredonia goalkeeper

The Blue Devils responded with a chance of their own.Â
Erin Pratt (Schenectady, N.Y.) sent a ball into the box to an open
Abby Price (Naples, N.Y.) whose shot went wide. Fredonia's second and last chance came in the 80
th minute when a shot from
Danielle Spring from inside the box found the arms of Tigers keeper Ingrida Ivaska.
Fredonia's goalkeepers were kept busy all game and finished with 17 total saves. Owczarzak started the match and finished with 6 saves. At halftime,
Abbey Monahan (Warsaw, N.Y.) took over the Fredonia net and stopped 11 RIT shots.
In addition to Jones' goal, Lauren Chester, Mia White and Kayla Grossman all found the net for the Tigers.Â
Fredonia's record now stands at 2-4-0 as they now look forward to their first conference match Friday at University Stadium at 4 PM against the New Paltz Hawks.
