FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Cortland defeated Fredonia, 3-1, in SUNYAC women's soccer Friday at University Stadium.

Abby Price (Naples, N.Y./Naples) had the Fredonia goal.
The loss dropped the Blue Devils to 7-8-0 overall and 3-3-0 in the conference. They host Oswego at 1 p.m. Saturday.
Romero opened the scoring in the eighth minute when she was on the receiving end of a quick re-start by Alannah O'Shea after a Fredonia foul in the midfield.
Fredonia tied it 1-1 in the 14th minute. The play began with a corner kick by sophomore defender
Erin Pratt (Schenectady, N.Y./Schalmont) which Cortland goalkeeper Danika Svendsen punched out. Price one-timed a shot from just inside the 20-yard line for her sixth goal of the season.

Cortland retook the lead in the 31st minute. A Fredonia free kick was countered by Cortland near the center stripe. Jaden Galluzzo then made a run through the Fredonia defense to score the go-ahead goal.
Hillaria Hernandez added insurance in the 66th minute with a chip shot just outside the box following a cross by Romero from the left sideline.
