MEADVILLE, PA. -- Diver Christian Krasnek (Springville, N.Y. / Springville Griffith Institute) won off both diving boards as the Fredonia men's swimming and diving team competed in its first meet since early December. They recently returned from their annual spring training trip in Florida.

Off the 1-meter board, Krasnek scored 288.15. Off the 3-meter board, he scored 342.30.  Both score were NCAA zones qualifying scores.

Teammate Patrick McCormick (Grand Island, N.Y. / Canisius) was second off the 3-meter with a score of 228.85. 

The Devils had a trio of winners in individual swimming events:
- Pat Woods (Hamburg, N.Y. / Frontier) won the 100-yard backstroke in a time of 57.49.
- Nathan Link (Grand Island, N.Y. / Grand Island) won the 200-yard backstroke in 2:12.33, and was followed by Andrew Page in 2:13.38.
- Graham Jones (Tonawanda, N.Y. / Kenmore East) 500-yard free in 5:04.96.

Allegheny won the team score 167-128.

The team travels to Brockport next weekend.
