FREDONIA, N.Y. --
Maria Gordon (Stephentown, N.Y./Berlin) scored just over five minutes into overtime as Fredonia rallied past St. John Fisher, 3-2, with two late goals in women's collegiate soccer at University Stadium.
Gordon was also a fraction of a second away from scoring the equalizer with just 43 seconds left in regulation. She appeared at the net just after a shot by
Alexis Moreland (Newfane, N.Y./Newfane) crossed the goal line. It was Moreland's first goal of the season, assisted by
Kaleigh Creeden (Rock Tavern, N.Y./Washingtonville).
Gordon's game-winner was her second goal of the season.
Emily Murray had the St. John Fisher goals, in the 16th and 70th minute, sandwiched around a goal by Fredonia's
Kaitlin Huyler (Troupsberg, N.Y./Jasper-Troupsberg) in the 55th minute. It was Huyler's second of the season. Moreland was credited with an assist.

The Blue Devils improved to 3-7-0 heading into a Saturday afternoon SUNYAC game at Buffalo State. The loss dropped St. John Fisher to 2-4-1.
