GENESEO, N.Y. -- The Fredonia women's soccer team was defeated 4-0 by SUNY Geneseo on Saturday afternoon.

The Blue Devils trailed at halftime, 1-0. 

Geneseo's Laurie Knapp (61'), Jennifer Moran (68'), and Carolanne Murphy (81') all netted goals in the second half to solidify a Knight victory.

Kendall Owczarzak (Lancaster, N.Y.) faced 16 shots and made 12 saves.

Geneseo improves to 4-1-3.

The loss drops the Blue Devils to 2-7-0 and 0-2-0 in the SUNYAC. They return to action on Tuesday at St. John Fisher College at 7:00 p.m.
