BROCKPORT, N.Y. -- The Fredonia women's soccer team fell 3-1 to the Brockport Golden Eagles on Friday afternoon.

Brockport scored its first goal in the 36th minute of play, taking a 1-0 lead into halftime. 

The Golden Eagles came out of halftime and scored two more goals in the 52nd and 67th minutes making it 3-0.

Fredonia got on the board when Kaitlin Huyler (Troupsburg, N.Y.) scored in the 76th minute. The goal was assisted by Alexis Moreland (Newfane. N.Y.)

Goalie Kendall Owczarzak (Lancaster, N.Y.) faced 11 shots and made eight saves.

The loss drops Fredonia to 2-6-0 and 0-1-0 in SUNYAC play. The Blue Devils return to action tomorrow at Geneseo at 4:00 p.m.
