MEADVILLE, Pa. -- Fredonia fell to 2-5 with a 2-1 loss to Allegheny in non-conference women's soccer.
The Blue Devils took a 1-0 lead on a header by
Audrey Yokopovich (Webster, N.Y./Webster Thomas) off a free kick by
Sarah Lindovski (Baldwinsville, N.Y./C.W. Baker) in the 32nd minute. It was Yokopovich's first goal of the season.

Kendall Owczarzak (Lancaster, N.Y./Lancaster) had six saves at halftime while clinging to a 1-0 lead.
Jessie Thiessen scored both Allegheny goals in the second half. Her first in the 52nd minute came on a leaping header after a high cross. She dribbled through the Blue Devil defenes and scored the game-wiinning goal with 1:57 remaining.
Owczarzak finished with eight saves while Colleen Fleming had four saves for Allegheny (1-4-1).
TheBlue Devils open SUNYAC play this weekend on the road -- 3 p.m. Friday at Brockport, 1 p.m. Saturday at Geneseo.
