ELMIRA, N.Y. -- The Fredonia women's tennis team improved to 3-1 with a 6-3 team victory over Elmira on Sunday. The Devils won third through sixth singles and second and third doubles.

Anna Chiacchia (Hamburg, N.Y. / Hamburg ) won third singles 6-1, 6-0; Halee Dickinson (Brockport, N.Y. / Brockport) won fourth 6-1, 6-1; Chloe Karnisky (Candaigua, N.Y. / Canandaigua Academy) won fifth 6-1, 6-3; and Adriana Speach (Baldwinsville, N.Y. / C.W. Baker) won 6-0, 6-1.

Olivia Miller (Springwater, N.Y. / Wayland-Cohocton) dropped first singles 6-3, 6-1 and Chloe Cohen (West Hempstead, N.Y. / West Hempstead) dropped second singels 6-2, 6-0.

Cohen and DIckinson wan second doubles, 8-2, and Leanne Hofstead (Liverpool, N.Y. / Liverpool) and Phoebe Langdon (Syracuse, N.Y. / Westhill) claimed third doubles, 8-1. Miller and Chiacchia fell in first doubles, 8-0.

The team returns to action Wednesday at 3 p.m. when they play host to Geneseo.
