AUBURNDALE, N.Y. -- After taking the first two games of the series, and leading 2-1 in the final game, the Fredonia baseball team could not hold on in a 20-3 loss to the Lakers.
Fredonia (8-4) had seven hits and reached on nine walks as Oswego (9-3)Â used the momentun of an eight-run fourth inning to take command of the game.
Quinn Danahy had two hits and two RBI, including a double, to lead the offense.
Steve Zaprowski added a double and pitchers a 1-2-3 inning of relief
Bailey Gauthier took the loss on the mound as five Fredonia pitchers combined to allow 16 hits, five walks and four hit batters.
The Devils take on Union College in a doubleheader on Tuesday.
