WIns come in pairs

PITTSFORD, N.Y. -- The Fredonia men's swimming and diving team's wins came in pairs on Saturday evening. Arron Carlson (LeRoy, N.Y. / Notre Dame) won a pair of dives, Jake Favret (Watertown, N.Y. / Watertown) won a pair of individual races, and the Devils won a pair of relays.

Carlson set a pool record with a 327.14 off the 1m board. He captured the 3m board with a score of 288.07.

Jake Favret won the 100 backstroke in a time of 1:09.05, and the 200 breast stroke in 2:33.27.

The 200 medley relay squad timed out in 1:52.42. Troy Lubanski, Adam Clouthier, Bill Bradley, and Liam Jones made up that quartet.

The 400 freestyle relay team finished in 3:49.43. Favret, Bradley, Liam Jones, and Graham Jones made up that squad.

Nazareth took the team score, 151-145.

The Devils take next weekend off before returning home for the three-day Blue Devil Invitational beginning on Dec.2.
