FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Arron Carlson (LeRoy, N.Y. / Notre Dame) broke a pool record and Troy Lubanski (Leicester, N.Y. / York) was a triple winner on Saturday at the tri-meet in Steele Hall. Ithaca and Brockport also participated.

Carlson swept both diving events. He scored a 321.10 off the 1-meter board, besting Jeff Matter's natatorium mark set in December of 2014. Carlson scored a 320.40 off the 3-meter board and provisionally qualified for the NCAA meet with both those scores.

Lubanski won the 50-yard backstroke (25.39) and the 100-yard backstroke (55.71) in individual events. He was also on the 200 yard medley relay team that touched in 1:38.63. Jake Favret (Watertown, N.Y. / Watertown), Bill Bradley (Dunkirk, N.Y. / Dunkirk) and Liam Jones (Buffalo, N.Y. / Kenmore East) joined him.
 
Favret was tops in the 50-yard breast stroke (27.42).

Bradley claimed a win in the 50-yard butterfly, touching in 24.31. He earned a second place in the 100-yard butterfly in a time of 54.06, just .02 of a second out of first.
 
Graham Jones (Tonawanda, N.Y. / Kenmore East) was second in the 1,000-yard freestyle in 10:51.73.

Favret took second place in the 100-yeard breast stroke, finishing in 59.75, just 0.07 of a second behind the winner. Nathan Link (Grand Island, N.Y. / Grand Island) was second in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:19.32.

Diver Jake Storms (Fredonia, N.Y. / Owego) finished fourth off both boards, with a 241.15 off the 1-meter and 210.20 off the 3-meter.

The Devils are back home next weekend when they play host to R.I.T.
