Samuel Wilbur (Saginaw, Mich.) had two goals, the second to tie the game late in the third period, resulting in a 3-3 men's hockey tie with Western New England.
The Blue Devils (5-9-2) had just fallen behind for the first time when Wilbur scored his fifth goal of the season at 17:33 of the third period.

Jon Carlson (Fort Frances, Ont.) added a goal and an assist and senior goaltender
Jeff Flagler (Owen Sound, Ont.) made 20 saves.
The Blue Devils' first two goals came on power plays. They broke on top on Carlson's second goal of the season at 8:47 of the first period. Wilbur made it 2-0 at the 8:30 mark of the second period before Western New England broke through late in the same period. a even-strength goal by Steve Beck at 17:36.
The Golden Bears (1-12-2) pulled even -- and then took the lead -- with two goals in a span of just over one minute in the third period. Tyler Pionk evened the score at 2-2 at 15:42 while Dane Genord made it 3-2 at 17:02.
Wilbur netted the game-tying goal 31 seconds later. It was the first time this season the Blue Devils rallied for a tie.
The Blue Devils outshot the Golden Bears, 47-23, resulting in 44 saves by WNE goaltender Kevin Gollmer.
Fredonia is idle until next Friday, Jan. 22, when Buffalo State visits Steele Hall for the first of six straight home games.
