BUFFALO, N.Y. – Buffalo State cruised to a 105-77 SUNYAC men's basketball victory Friday over Fredonia.
The Bengals stormed out to a 60-33 lead at halftime and improved to 14-8 overall and 10-6 in the SUNYAC.
Ian Helps (Bronx, N.Y. / Greater New York Academy) led the Blue Devils with 18 points and seven rebounds.
Fredonia dropped to 2-20 overall and 1-15 in the SUNYAC.
Lovell Smith had 20 points, one of four Buffalo State players to score in double figures. In all, 14 Bengals had at least two points.
Buffalo State swept the season series between the two teams and earned one more point in the Battle By The Lake competition between the far-most western teams in the conference.
Fredonia leads the season-long all-sports series 10-3.
The Blue Devils are off until next weekend when they wrap up the season with SUNYAC games at Oneonta and at New Paltz.
