FREDONIA, N.Y. -- After trailing the entire first half, the Fredonia men's basketball team tied the game early in the second half, but could not hang on, falling to Brockport 82-79 in Steele Hall on Tuesday.

Kyree Hull (Peekskill, N.Y. / Peekskill) tied the game at 47-all five minutes into the second half. The game would see seven more lead changes and two more ties before Brockport gained the lead for good at the 6:22 mark.
Hull led the Devils with 19 points and added six rebounds and three steals.
Ian Helps (Bronx, N.Y. / Greater New York Academy) chipped in 18 points and 11 rebounds, while
Max Pearce (Tuckahoe, N.Y. / Tuckahoe) had 10 points.
Brockport (10-10, 7-6)Â was led by Patrick Modzelewski with 23.
Fredonia led the rebounding battle, 43-35. The Devils shot 40 percent from the field compared to 54 percent by Brockport. Fredonia was six of 18 from three-point land, and Brockport was eight of 14.
The Devils (2-19 overall, 1-14 SUNYAC) travel to Buffalo State this weekend.
