ERIE, Pa. -- Fredonia men's basketball was within four points of Penn St.-Behrend on Tuesday after
Dante Williams (Buffalo, N.Y. / Hutch Tech) converted a three point play with less than ten minutes to go, but a 22-10 run by the Lions in final stretch sealed the Blue Devils' fate.
The Lions notched their second win of the season, 66-50, as Fredonia fell to 0-4.
Junior guard
Kareem Brown (Brooklyn, N.Y. / Brooklyn H.S. for Law & Tech) led the Blue Devils in scoring with 11 points and seven rebounds, just ahead of
Ian Helps's (Bronx, N.Y. / Greater New York Academy) 10 points, 10 rebounds, and four assists. Williams added seven points.Â
Penn St.-Behrend's Zane Hackett led all scorers in the game with 17 points.
The men play at home against Medaille College this Saturday at 2 p.m. in Steele Hall.Â
