After playing three seasons at Fredonia State, Brinn Shaughnessy returns to the Blue Devil volleyball team as an Assistant Coach in the Fall of 2023. Shaughnessy graduated from Fredonia State in 2022 with a degree in Childhood Inclusive Education. She is currently in her second year of graduate school working towards her Masters Degree in Inclusive Education Curriculum & Development and Applied Behavior Analysis.
As a player, she was the team's MVP in 2021.
Prior to becoming a Blue Devil, she was Section 4 Player of the Year at Owego Free Academy. Her team won state titles in 2015 and 2017. As a senior in 2017, she was named the State Tournament MVP.
