2019-20: Serafin competed in the 4x200 relay as well as the triple, long and high jump in the 2019-20 Indoor season... Serafin qualified for the All-Atlantic Regional Track and Field Championship in the long and triple jump... Serafin placed second in the triple jump at the SUNYAC Indoor Championship with a total distance of 11.43 meters (37ft, 6in) jumped.
Personal: Full name is Cassandra Teresa Serafin ... daughter of Susan and Randy Serafin ... her brother, Nick, was a member of the Fredonia men's track & field team and a 2019 graduate who was his sister's greatest influence "because of his dedication and passion for the things he loves"
Before Fredonia -- Earned two letters for Justin McElligott ... winner of a four-year award ... most memorable sports moment is going to states two years in a row.
On her college choice: She chose Fredonia to be part of the women's team. "It felt like a home away from home."
