Kyle Marvin is in his seventh season as a Blue Devil assistant after a successful playing career for the Fredonia State men's team. A four-year starter for the Blue Devils, Marvin won the SUNYAC scoring title in 2002. He had 17 goals and eight assists overall, a total of 42 points. His points per game average was fifth best in NCAA Division III.

In four seasons Marvin had 27 goals and 10 assists for 61 points -- sixth most in Fredonia State men's soccer history. He was a three-time All-SUNYAC team selection, including a First Team pick after the 2001 season. He was also a two-time regional All-American.

He graduated in May 2002 with a degree in elementary education and a concentration in Spanish. He followed that up by completing his master's program at Fredonia State in the Tesol program (teaching English to speakers of other languages). He has played with the Palm Beach Pumas of a semipro league in Florida. He also played midfielder for gold-medal winning Western men's open division soccer team during the 2005 Empire State Games.

A native of Ontario, N.Y., Marvin attended Wayne Central High School.
