Erin Woods, the 2023 Fredonia State Female Athlete of the Year, was named Assistant Coach for the women's lacrosse program prior to the 2024 season. Woods earned her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Management from Fredonia State in 2023 and is currently working for Kaleida Health as a Total Rewards Assistant.Â
She played four seasons at Fredonia State. She earned SUNYAC Offensive Athlete of the Week during the week of February 27, 2023 with 10 goals and 3 assists in two contests. She notched her 100th career point with a goal in SUNYAC play against Oneonta on March 25, 2023. Woods was nominated for Fredonia State's Female Athlete of the Year in 2021 before winning the award following the 2023 season. We are excited to have Erin's expertise and leadership back in the program!Â
