Ken Ricker joined the Fredonia Blue Devil women's basketball coaching staff prior to the 2017-18 season as a volunteer assistant.
His prior collegiate coaching experience came as Jamestown Community College women's assistant basketball coach (1992-94). He was Jamestown High School girls basketball varsity head coach (2004-12), varsity assistant (2013-17), junior varsity head coach (2015-16), Jamestown Persell Middle School head coach (2012-13), and Jamestown Elite AAU coach and founder (2007 to present).
He also served as Jamestown High varsity softball head coach (2003-10) and boys junior varsity basketball coach (2001-04), and Salpointe Catholic varsity assistant (1994-95) in Tucson, Arizona. He was the Empire State Games Western Region Scholastic Boys assistant coach in 2003.
Ricker earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education (2001) and a Masters Degree in Curriculum & Instruction (2008) from SUNY Fredonia.
