Fredonia University

Caitlyn Cybart joined the Fredonia State softball staff during the during the 2022-2023 season. Cybart graduated Magna Cum Laude from Houghton University in May 2021. She completed a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology and earned minors in Chemistry and Psychology while playing basketball and softball for the Highlanders. 

Cybart was a four-year starter for Houghton softball, splitting time between third base, first base, and catching. She ranks among the career leaders for the Highlanders -- second in fielding percentage (.980), fourth in batting average (.321), and fifth in slugging percentage (.407).

Cybart was named Empire 8 All-Conference Honorable mention for softball in 2019, and was named a NCCAA Scholar Athlete for both basketball and softball throughout her career.
