Jerome Moss joined the Fredonia Men's Basketball coaching staff prior to the 2018-19 season.
It's a homecoming for Moss, who possesses two Fredonia degrees -- a Bachelor's in Sociology earned in 1980, and a Master's in Special Studies earned in 1990. He was a member of the Blue Devil men's basketball team and was Second Team All SUNYAC in 1979.
Moss has previously coached at the high school, college, and semi-professional level. While coaching at Dunkirk High School, he guided the 2012-13 team to an 18-0 regular-season record. Prior to that, he spent four seasons as a bench boss of the Buffalo State women's team (2002-06). Most recently, he was the head coach of the Chautauqua Hurricane semi-pro team for three seasons, ending in 2017-18. The Hurricane were 6-0 on their home floor in his final year.
Moss resides in Fredonia with his wife, Mary Kay.
