2024: Appeared in 11 games, making 2 starts … struck out 7 in 13 1/3 innings … had a 1-2 record with 1 save … earned the win on Opening Day when he threw a scoreless 10th inning of a 10-9 win over Pitt-Bradford … first save came over 2 scoreless innings of work in a 7-4 win vs. Oneonta on April 7… picked up a save vs. Thiel on April 9, throwing a scoreless inning in a 4-2 win.

Personal: Son to Amy and Brian Burkestone ... coached by Robert Augistino at Niagara Falls High School ... On his choice of Fredonia State, "To play baseball with my friends and to get my degree."
