Tom Peltier joined the Fredonia State baseball staff in 2026 following a professional playing career that included stints with the Modesto Roadsters and Rocky Mountain Vibes of the Pioneer Baseball League and the Tri-City ValleyCats of the Frontier League. A Buffalo native, Peltier also served as a baseball instructor at Hot Corner Athletics in Lockport, N.Y., where he developed individualized training programs and led private and team sessions.

Before entering the professional ranks, Peltier was a standout pitcher at Canisius University, where he earned both his master’s degree in Sports Administration (2024) and his bachelor’s degree in Sports and Exercise Healthcare with a minor in Education (2023). A two-time Division I student-athlete and team leader, he helped the Golden Griffins capture the 2022 MAAC Championship and earned All-MAAC Tournament Team honors in 2023.

His background also includes strength and conditioning and athletic training experience with Canisius College’s Division I programs, as well as work in sports facility operations at Platinum Fitness in Buffalo.
