Luke Kuczewski

Fredonia State alum Luke Kuczewski joined the Blue Devil baseball coaching staff prior to the start of the 2019-20 school year. He served as the team’s pitching coach during the 2019-2020 season.  He also worked with the team’s catchers and was the first base coach. 

A right-handed pitcher, Kuczewski made 40 appearances -- 33 starts -- over four seasons with the Blue Devils. He amassed a 16-13 won-loss record with a 3.76 earned run average. His 6-1 record as a junior earned him the distinction of 2017-18 Fredonia Male Athlete of the Year. He was co-winner of the same award as a senior. He was a team captain his junior and senior years.

Kuczewski earned a bachelor's degree in Economics with a minor in Sport Management from Fredonia and has begun work on a masters in Business Administration from Oswego State. He is employed by Delaware North Company Sportservice, working primarily at New Era Field in Orchard Park, N.Y.

His hobbies include working on classic cars.
