FREDONIA, N.Y. -- The first season of the SUNYAC's new East-West divisional format and an exhibition game against NCAA Division I Cornell highlight the 2026-27 Fredonia State women's basketball schedule.
The Blue Devils open the season Nov. 5 with an exhibition contest at Cornell -- the first competition at Fredonia State for new head coach Nicole Bullock --Â before beginning the regular season at home against William Smith on Nov. 7. Fredonia will also face Hilbert on Nov. 11 before returning home for games against Houghton on Nov. 14 and Carlow on Nov. 17.
The Blue Devils will then travel to the Utica Tournament for games on Nov. 20 and 21 before returning home to host Keuka on Dec. 1. Fredonia opens SUNYAC play Dec. 5 when it hosts Oneonta and will welcome Oswego and Morrisville to Dods Hall the following weekend after a trip to Penn State Greater Allegheny.
The conference schedule takes on a new look in 2026-27 as the league adopts East and West divisions.
Fredonia's West Division opponents are Alfred State, Buffalo State, Cortland, Morrisville, and Oswego. The Blue Devils will face each of those teams twice, once at home and once on the road. Crossover games will come against Canton, Cobleskill, Delhi, Oneonta, Plattsburgh, and Potsdam.
Following the holiday break, Fredonia resumes conference action with road games at Alfred State and Cortland on Jan. 8 and 9 before traveling to Buffalo State on Jan. 15. The Blue Devils return home Jan. 22 and 23 to host crossover opponents Cobleskill and Plattsburgh.
A pair of road weekends follows, with trips to Morrisville and Oswego on Jan. 29 and 30 and to crossover opponents Canton and Potsdam on Feb. 5 and 6. Fredonia then closes its home schedule with three straight conference games, hosting Cortland on Feb. 12, Alfred State on Feb. 13, and Buffalo State on Feb. 17.
The Feb. 13 contest against Alfred State will serve as Senior Day. The Blue Devils conclude the regular season Feb. 20 at Delhi.
The SUNYAC Tournament is scheduled to begin with quarterfinal games on Feb. 23. The semifinals and championship game are slated for Feb. 26 and 27, respectively.
