FREDONIA, N.Y. — Kylie O'Brien recorded a team-high eight kills and Cayla Partsch added six kills, but the Fredonia State women's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to SUNY Geneseo on Tuesday night in Dods Hall. The Knights earned the sweep by scores of 25-20, 25-23, and 25-20.
O'Brien led a balanced Fredonia attack that saw six different players register at least five kills. Maeve Musielak finished with six kills, nine digs, and a service ace. Bria Hunter and Donnilynn Sheldon chipped in five kills apiece.
Molly Cassidy and Olivia Boswell combined for 29 assists in the two-setter role, with Cassidy adding two service aces. The Blue Devils totaled six aces as a team and received five digs from Sasha Zayatz and Daniella Chamberlain.
