FREDONIA, N.Y. — Lee Hartke scored the game-winning goal in the 65th minute and Thomas McDonald recorded a shutout as Fredonia State earned a 1-0 victory over Nazareth on Wednesday night at University Stadium.
The Blue Devils improved to 2-2-2 on the season and registered their second consecutive shutout.
After a scoreless first half, Fredonia broke through at the 64:46 mark when Hartke scored his first goal of the season off assists from Dylan McAfee and Jackson Kuby.
McDonald was not required to make a save as the Fredonia defense limited Nazareth to five total shots and none on goal.
