FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Student-athletes from SUNY Fredonia were recognized for their accomplishments in the classroom as part of the EAST-COMM 2025-26 Academic Honor Roll, which was announced Aug. 4.
The honor roll recognizes student-athletes who have achieved at least sophomore eligibility and maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher. Across all three seasonal honor rolls, 7,466 student-athletes from 51 institutions and 42 sports earned recognition.
A total of 102 Fredonia State student-athletes from men's and women's fall, winter, and spring sports were among those selected for the honor. The Blue Devils were represented by student-athletes from baseball, men's and women's soccer, women's volleyball, men's and women's basketball, men's ice hockey, men's and women's swimming & diving, men's and women's track & field, women's tennis, softball, women's lacrosse, cross country, and cheerleading.Â
Notably, Kevin Moser and Juliana Rodriguez earned recognition during both the fall and spring seasons through their participation in cross country and track & field, while several other Blue Devils appeared on seasonal honor rolls representing multiple sport sponsorships.
EAST-COMM is the abbreviated name for the Eastern Collegiate Communications Association, the professional organization made up of collegiate sports information directors and communicators in the Northeast. It was formerly known as ECAC-SIDA.
